The Apprentice 1 Season 1 - Donald Trump Youre Fired:: The Apprentice with Donald Trump Episode Season 1 The Apprentice. Season One The Apprentice DVD - The Complete First Season http://www.myownbusiness.org/apprentice/the_apprentice_1.htmlHOME | Wow.
I'd never watched an episode of this, but the first episode is so compelling I wish I didn't have to go to work now.
I'm going to eat this set up like candy.

Now there's an interesting question!
Do you now feel compelled to watch Season 2 Rafe? Yes, I do. Which I guess when you get down to it is the reason to release the show on DVD.
Damn... I have got to find someone to get us some copies of Arrested Development to give away - get the show some more viewers!
The main reason I want to see Season 2 though, is the articles I'm reading are saying it's very similar to Survivor - the first season everyone learned the rules. The second season is when it got rough, because the people coming in already had an idea of how to play (and not to play) the game. Like I was saying to Rafe last night, I think shows like this are actually better on DVD than they are on TV. The linear nature of the one continuous story means the show is better when you watch all the episodes at once without interruptions.
The same is true of shows like Farscape or 24 or Babylon 5.
It's a good show. You should enjoy it.

RIGHT OFFFFF!!!
It was a good show, but why would anyone buy the DVD? Unless you missed it on TV you already know who won and the next season starts soon.
Are you reviewing it, Rafe?
Yeah, as I'm planning on writing in my review...
I don't know whether I'll watch the upcoming second season as it comes out on television or wait for DVD for it as well so I can do another marathon. I guess I'll have to decide which is better - the suspense of a week between episodes, or being able to run through it all at once. Which is the better way to remove a band-aid?

I think that's bad though. I liked Survivor better the first season when people didn't know what was going on.
Nah, it's cooler once it gets cuthroat.
Muhahahaha.
Soon you will join me in the dark realms of trash reality TV.
Next up: Amish in the City!
I agree. If you've seen the show buying the DVD is kind of stupid. Since it's not dramatic/comedic television, there's really nothing left after the contest is over and the winner is picked.
However I didn't see it, so this will be a great way to watch it - no commercials, no waiting between episodes. Kind of like my introduction to Celebrity Poker (their Memorial Day marathon).
And, yeah I'm reviewing it. Nobody else took interest so I got "stuck" with it. Should be a fun review though. It's basically survivor in the asphalt jungle. Some of the shots are even the same, just using buildings instead of trees.
So did you, like me, want to strangle Omorosa?
You're FIRED!!!... if you don't watch the second season next week.
I agree that shows like this might be better to watch in a row, uninterrupted. But, I also enjoy having the next weeks episode to look foward to if you're watching it on cable.
Anyway, it's a great show, but I would never buy the DVD, simply because there's no replay value for me...unless I wanted to watch Omarosa bitch and complain about food and pieces of the ceiling falling on her head giving her concussions.
My review is (finally) up. (http://www.cinemablend.com/review.php?id=651)
If you haven't seen the show and you like Survivor, pick this one up. Otherwise... well, I don't know how much use it'll be.
Taln, you know the second season premieres on next Thursday, right?:)
Finished episode 9 in between classes - good bye Omorosa!!!!
Man, it's addictive. Burnett should be considered a drug.
