I saw "the dark knight" 5 times in theatres and still can't figure out this one thing about the movie. The Joker tells Batman where he can find Harvey Dent and Rachel. Batman leaves the room and commissioner Gordon asks "who you going after" and Batman says "Rachel." Why, then, does he end up rescuing Dent? Did Batman change his mind and realize Gotham needed Dent alive to feel safe and thats why he ends up rescuing him, or was the joker just messing with them and gave them the opposite addresses, so Batman thought he was going to save Rachel and Dent was at that address??? Fan Created Dark Knight Sequel Movie Poster | /Film:: But yes, it is just a fan creation (If the question mark didn’t give it away). I doubt they would use the title The Dark Knight Returns unless it was an http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/08/14/fan-created-dark-knight-sequel-movie-poster/HOME |
I thought he saved dent first and then was going after rachel i thought he was going to save dent first cauz thats what rachel would have wanted
that is typical what joker do.
giving batman wrong information
no matter what batman chooses
he is going to miss the one he really care.
I would have choose Rachel too.
But i just think it is too stupid that important people to be caught so easily and the police are so stupid
at all end, joker dont have superpower.
Later that night, when Dent and Rachel disappear, Batman interrogates the Joker at the police station, who reveals that they have been captured by corrupt police and placed in warehouses rigged with explosives on opposite sides of the city; they are far enough apart that Batman cannot save them both. Batman leaves to save Rachel, while Gordon and the police head after Dent. With the help of a bomb planted at the police station, the Joker escapes with Lau. Having been deceived by the Joker, who gave him reversed addresses, Batman arrives at Dent's location in time to save him, but the left side of Dent's face is burned in the resulting explosion. Gordon does not arrive in time to save Rachel and she dies. In the hospital, Dent is driven to madness over the loss of Rachel. After burning Lau atop a pile of the mob's money, the Joker goes to the hospital and convinces Dent to exact revenge on the corrupt cops and mobsters responsible for Rachel's death, as well as Batman and Gordon.
cuz the joker switched the addresses when he told bats it really isn't that hard to figure out.
Batman thought he was going to save Rachel. By the time he got there, it was too late, so he had to save Dent. So sad...I knew that was going to happen.
