| I'm an 18 year old freshman in college and I need to get the hell out of here... out of PA because I'm completely sick of it here, the people, the environment, everything. All of my extended family lives in new york. I'm thinking about going to live with my grandfather in Astoria for 3 years and getting the papers signed over to me and being able to pay dirt cheap for his apartment with like 6 rooms and going to Queens college but it's obviously not set in stone yet.... Astoria is a great place to live. And depending on where you live in Astoria it's about a subway ride and bus ride away.
that is great you will love it.
I think it sounds like a great idea, Queens College is nice. There's so many great things about queens; the malls, people, culture etc. I advise on saving up some cash to get a car though, because, the travel from astoria to QC will be hell.
