| | Thought this was funny... in a way. Hope that that isn't actually true.

Last I saw of his it appeared he was in a garage. It was dark so don't hold me to that
Stu's fine. We've been following his progress with interest over here in Blighty. I'll send him a link to this thread as I'm sure he'll have a laugh.
I'm convinced that it's just an error in the GPS postioning but you can't help but wonder if his car didn't get swept out. But I'm sure that if it did the laptop would have stopped working long before it made it out that far. I don't see a map legend but just a bit of guesswork by looking at the size of the city blocks that's got to be about a mile out to sea or more. I've not seen my GPS get that far off before. I'm curious. I'm skeptical, but not enough to laugh just yet.
Thanks for sharing that.
Stu had been having some GPS issues earlier in the day not giving a good position. My understanding is that he is in Galveston on solid ground.
Stu's probably out there in a kayak trying to give us the next big thrill. :) But I'm with you, I hope his GPS is off. I looked at Stu's live chasecam and all I saw were fish swimming by with very frightened looks on their faces... :D ShillingEntertainment - View topic - Downfall (Super Smash Bros :: 4 posts - Last post: Sep 13, 2008Can't do that unless I have your email. I hope so. I wouldn't have the balls to be on a barrier island in the first place, I won't lie haha man. hopefully he's doing alright out there though
Stu was at a motel at least ten meters above the sea wall safe and sound. I understand that he is now off the island. Ed
I saw that last night too, thought about bringing it up in a thread here but I see it was already done. I hope he and everyone else is safe out there, and come back with amazing footage!
You know, if Stu's position was correct, he better be streaming his video. :)
LOL It was just a GPS position error - I moved the car into a car park and the GPS freaked out and gave a bad position - nice image through - I might grab that one for my blog :)
