I would just open it up in irfanview, use your mouse to drag out a rectangle including the entire picture, then drag the top of the rectangle down until you aren't including the black areas any more. Copy, paste into a new window, save, fin!

I really like the colors of the sky in this one, and the horizon looks very natural. My only question is why did you choose not to just crop out the extra portions at the top and bottom when the frames didn't match up perfectly? The black empty spaces are a bit distracting, and make the seams a little more obvious.
