when i go to them using the xbmc playlist, they show up with their filesize next to them. the ones that play fine all have the time (minutes:seconds). i use musicmatch to create my mp3s
any help would be greatly appreciated.

100 % sure that this upgrade fixed my problems. this is the only thing i changed and it is now working great on all fronts. :kickass: trouble shooting:: on downloading and playing files, or search the help menu for file extensions. Use the Add button – to add the MP3 files that you want on your new CD. http://www.creatavision.com/troubleshooting.htmHOME | Troubleshoot:: If you are having trouble playing a message from TheOnLineWord.com, VoiceWings. i may be completely off but i don't think that upgrading your dash has any influence on xbmc (the same version).
you sure you didn't do anything else?
also if i may give you some advice. be sure to check out avalaunch or unleashx as they are both very good substitutes for the now very old evox.
actualy since evox has memory-resistant features such as igr and trainers it can cause bugs in application launched from evolutionx, see faq
after having upgraded to the latest evox, this is one of the many problems that got fixed.
some mp3s still only show size (instead of length in time) but they now play.
