How do anti spam solutions work?::
Anti spam solution scan the emails (Their subject and body) and search for certain words or phrases such as "Viagra" and filter the spam email accordingly.

I keep getting spam mails from multiple sites that my filters wont redirect to the spam folder. How do I filter them. They all look like regular persons sending regular mail. It seems like I get more and more everyday

I don't get all that crap because I don't use Yahoo as my email and I don't put out my email address to everyone. I haven't had a spam message in over a year.

Go to mail options and turn on the Yahoo spam filter. Then mark those spam emails that still get into your inbox as spam. Yahoo has more powerful computers able to recognise the spam than you can ever set up using personal filters. But, they need your help to notify them of those that do get through.

You will still get some spam, particulary the amusing notice of lottery win / beneficiary / job prospect etc which look so like real emails that even Yahoo have difficulty detecting them.
