Viewing Detailed Logs hangs system completely | | Published by: cfz 2009-01-09 |
Can't see any other reference to this on the forums, maybe someone can help.
I upgraded to V2 last week and quickly came across what to me is a serious problem. Viewing the Detailed Logs almost always results in a total system hang. Keyboard and mouse are both frozen so there is no way out other than the off switch.
Using Win2kP with latest SP's and updates. No other firewall, Norton Antivirus 2003.
Any suggestions?
no ..its correct where it is...apparently the log folder was used for beta testing and debug plugin.Sorry i cant help anymore .There are a few people here who use w2k so hang in there

The op_data.mdb file is just over 2Mb so shouldn't present a problem. I can open this file in Access easily enough.
I note that this file is in the main Outpost folder and that there is also a log folder. Should the data file be in there I wonder?
I dont have win2k but im wondering whether the log file ..apparently called op data.mdb has grown so large due to the logging problem ,that the cpu is using everything to open such a large file and possibly causing the problems you described?
