I straighten my hair almost every single day, I do however already use a heat control product by V5 but I don't really care for it. Does anyone know of a really good heat protecting spray for straightening hair?
CHI Keratin Mist is excellent. It is what I use.

Got2b has tons of hair creams that I have found work like magic. I own got2b's hair straightening and blowdrying cream and it is great. Got2b has a whole ton of hair creams so I'm sure you'll find what I have ;)
Good luck!
tresemme (i think the spelling is wrong) but they have a whole line from shampoo to leave in conditioner to help protect your hair :)
Well, first of all, if you have curly hair you don't need to wash it every day. The oil from your scalp takes longer to travel down a curly shaft than a straight hair shaft. If you're having to restraighten because it starts to curl back up overnight, you need a better straightener. I used to have problems getting my hair bone straight and keeping it that way because of using cheap supermarket/drugstore flat irons. A Chi or Sedu works much better though they cost 100$ or more. A quality iron straightens hair in fewer passes so prevents more damage than a cheapie. Anyway I recommend Biosilk for straightening.
most salons have recommended tresemmé to me as the affordable opiton
I straighten my hair everyday, too. I use TreSemme Heat Tamer Protective Spray. It works really well and doesn't smell too bad, either. Here is a link if you wanna check it out:
