1. Les choses qui me "plaisent" (use of 3rd person plural because "les choses" is plural)
2. Ca "m'agace" ("ca" is equivalent to "it" in English hence the use of 3rd person singular)
3. Les fetes que font ses voisins la "derange" (this one is a bit tricky but you have to change the verb according to the subject "la", so 3rd person singular
4. si vous lui "plaisez" ("vous" second person plural)
Les choses qui me plaisent
Ca m'agace
Les fetes que font ses voisins la dérangent
Si vous lui plaisez
the verbs you have in brackets are the infinitive form, in english they would be like (to please), (to upset) etc...
So what you have to do in this exercice is to put the verb in the present tense according to the rest of the sentence.
You have the right answers, except from the "French native."
Explanations: the verb ending depends on the subject of the verb.
1. Les choses is plural (like 'they') so it's 3rd. plural.
2. Ca or Cela is singular, so 3rd. singular.
3. Les fetes is the subject, so 3rd. plural.
4. If you please him - you (vous) is the subject, so 2nd. plural - because it's the formal way of saying 'you.'
you can use www.verb2verbe.com
look up the conjugations for the verbs and use the appropriate person.
