Another pissing contest question how original. I'll make this quick and simple. Those two units have different job descriptions so your question is biased towards favoring the Marines. Airborne is dropped (well was since tactics have changed drastically and therefore so have delivery systems) well behind enemy lines with little support. Marine amphib units operate under the MAGTF which is a combination of sea, air and ground forces. This means a four man crew with a PRC-119F could theoretically contact an artillery unit and get Howitzer support within minutes. If they had another type of radio then that opens the door to rotary (helicopter), fixed wing (airplane) and naval guns support as well.
