I really would like to get a laptop but,I have absolutely no idea which one to get. I will be using it for the web, itunes, writing papers for school, and possibly limewire. I think the macbook is really cool. But is it really worth all that money? Which laptop would you recommend for me? And why?

MacBook is a really good computer so i would recommend getting it.
Most laptops are good. Price does matter, the higher the price the more better it is! Myself i have a Toshiba, and it is fine. As i said most laptops are good. Don't get one from Ebay, you should get one from a computer or electronic retailer!
Getting certain CDs to play on my Laptop::
Are the discs clean and scratch free, if not I would recommend using a polisher. What do you mean by the fact that you can't get some CDs to 'play'.

As i mean by " Price does matter" its because it has up to date features with today's technology needs and means it is more reliable. Choose wisely, if you don't know what to get ask for assistance at the counter!

Wait until after Tuesday. Apple will be releasing a new MacBook, and it's rumored to be around $899.
limewire destroys computers it has tones of viruses so if you will use limewire i would suggest an apple they are less likely to get viruses
But i personly like dells i dont use limewire
If ther is no matter for price i would get an apple or a very nice dell and get all the software to go with it like word and antivirus and firedog and such
