Which scanner scans colours most accurately?
I'm looking for a new scanner :I make watercolour and other classic medium illustrations and would use it mostly to scan artwork. I'm looking to upgrade since from my last scanner, because the colours were just too much off. Even after tweaking in Photoshop they just didn't look right.
I'm condsidering a Canon 8800F, but I've heard here and there that again the colours aren't that accurate. Can anyone recommend me a good scanner with accurate colors? I have a Hewlett Packard Photosmart C3140 All-in-one.
Through my control panel, I set my printing preferences to
best, best dpi, and for photo prints set mt paper selection to high-glossy and Picture fix to " Full".
I bought it at Wal-Mart for around $ 80, and have had it for two years so far. I have even successfully used ink - refill kits. I recommend
the HP C3140.
