Everyone thinks that dreads are easy to maintain and require no washing. Which isn't true. People with dreads wash their hair more than normal people. I'm so tired of people being like"gross" when I say I used to have dreads. Personally I think they are hot and can be very nice looking. I am so gonna get them again when my hair grows back. For those of you who hate dreads and think they are gross. I am giving you a virtual slap in the face. You all piss me off.

Most people who have dreadlocks are Black. Dreadlocks are associated with negative views such as having "nappy" hair.

You can hardly claim to know everyone on the planet with them and how often they wash or how often "normal people" wash their hair?
If however you want to go for that look then do so.
