I've heard men get there periods too, but we don't freak out for no reason and get crazy..(Or I dont notice myself doing it) Im just wondering if Its like something chemically in ur DNA or what im not trying to offend anyone..

Its called PMS or pre menstrual syndrome. Not all women have it, its kinda like an old wives tale. many don't even know really what it is. it occurs before their period hence pre menstrual. most women just sike themselves into it. they think they have an excuse to be all pissy because there on the period.

When women go through this process it affects their hormones. Not only that they fell bloated, alot of pressure so the mixture of that plus what their body is doing is what tends to make them that way
WHAT?? You heard that men get their periods? Are you insane? Have you ever looked at an anatomy book? Men don't get periods!
So, because of that you wouldn't understand.
But, here's something you may understand. Hormones affect ALL of us. That's right...women AND men. Think about when you've gone a long time without eating and then you get cranky, sleepy, whiny, bitchy (yes, it happens to men), and whatever other mood you may feel. That hungry feeling is also a result of hormones.
Don't lump all women into one group because it doesn't happen to us all. But, to the women who do experience mood swings as a result of PMS, you should be supportive!
And, REMEMBER! Men don't have periods.

Are you retarded? How old are you? Men don't get "periods." And not all women are mean on their periods, actually most aren't (from my experience), and if they are it is either hormones, they are in pain, or they are using their period as an excuse to be mean.

Hormone imbalance is the usual root to the mood swings and grumpy moods and emotional outbursts. It's normal and yes I would definitely agree that there are some guys who do the same thing!

the mood swing is due to hormone imbalance. not all women have same symptoms, but many do have. it's quite normal as per medical terms.
