No for them its Iraqis first. For them it is most important to spend $700 billions in Iraq than educate our own kids in America.

Who hurts more with a tax increase? The family of 4 making $45,000 a year or the guy making $45 million a year.
TRICKLE DOWN ECONOMICS DO NOT WORK. We've given the 'rich guys' cuts for years, are the middle class any richer despite how hard they work? Most of them, no.
Any simpleton will see that if you look at history, that this country was not founded on Millionaires, but on hard working middle class people. When the middle class thrives the entire economy thrives. If it's rich people keeping their money that makes us thrive explain the mess we are in? Really, the Bill Gates type people, The Oprah's, the Warren Buffets...How's it working? It's not. Why hasn't their wealth trickled down? It won't.
It's not that we don't care,it's just that we think others should go through the training and schooling that we did and work for their money...no one handed us anything,we worked for it and worked very hard!
well its the democrats that want a bigger government, and the republicans that want small government. Yes counrty is importent but your life comes first.
Because wealth redistribution isn't thinking of your country. Wealth redistribution is socialism, and socialism is not, no matter how you try and slice it or guilt trip people into buying into it, American. It is a farce. It is one of the main reasons why socialist countries could not work and so, by avoiding your "spread the wealth" moron they are in turn actually thinking of their country. Obama supporters on the other hand, are willing to turn the country over to a socialist and strip us of some of the very basic things that make us American, just to spite Republicans. Legalizing Marijuana - A New Republican Strategy? : Indybay:: I dont have to think twice and say sure, where do I sign? Look at the republican answers, "It's not that we don't care but we want people to go through the same education as we did."
For one not everyone can afford schooling that these college grads that their parents paid for went through. I mean come on how out of touch can you get?
btw McCain proved how much of a moron that he was after the debate.
"Ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country."-JFK
You have to look out for number one, and not expect the country to look out for you. And you shouldn't be expected to give a handout to every Tom, Dick, and Harry who comes along.
That one, get a clue. You are one of the generalizing morons that run rampant on this site. You know that there are conservatives, moderates, and liberals in each party regarding social and fiscal issues.
Because capitalism works. Stop begging. Aren't you even the least bit embarrassed? Doesn't it make you feel like a pathetic victim?
The Republicans live by the "free markets above all else" ideology, which is social Darwinism. The financially fit survive, and if you're not financially fit, you deserve to starve.
I'm a social moderate. I do believe every able person should be out working, but I also believe that it is the government's responsibility to "provide for the common defence" and "promote the general Welfare" as so stated in the U.S. Constitution.
Republicans seem to interpret the "promoting the general welfare" as promoting those that have financial resources to keep Wall Street healthy.
I don't believe in hand-outs, but I believe every American that wants to better him or herself should have full access to education to better themselves without having to dive into lifelong debt. College is becoming more and more unaffordable, and taking out loans to finance your education is becoming very expensive in the long term.
Post-graduate students often find themselves hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt, and predatory lenders are feasting on this with ridiculous interest rates. That's not right. We want to stay competitive with the rest of the world, but at the same time, we're allowing students here at home to be financially crippled for the rest of their lives because they want to achieve advanced degrees that will make them competitive in the global economy.
that'ss the spin the republican media puts on rigtchesnous
We believe that when the individuals work to make themselves prosperous, they invariably boost others up around them. For instance, a guy starts his own business and as it becomes successful, he hires people, creates jobs, and thus increases the prosperity of those around him.
We just don't believe that our hard work and prosperity should be given away to folks who, to quote Ned Flanders, "just don't feel like working, God bless'em".
Our forefathers fled the tyranny of England so that they could pursue happiness, not so that they could be provided with happiness. Being American means being a productive member of society. We have way too many people who think it's the responsibility of the government to give them everything.
Socialism is unamerican no matter how you liberals try say otherwise.
