Is having a partner the only way to live a happy life?
Everyone is different. Some people are antisocial and prefer few others around them. Some are happy to be single and footloose... either to be very independent, or to play around with multiple other people with few consequences. Some are devoted partners, whether to the same gender or a more common cross-gender relationship. Others act like devoted partners but seek thrills on the side. Others attach readily to someone but get bored easily and seek new relationships.

I think that is all a matter of opinion.
Anybody can truly live happy without a partner. With a good job, close family members& friends, and a good home without worries, you can live a happy life& having a partner is not the only way to have a happy life.
BUT in my opinion, having someone you really truly love in your life, WILL DEFINATLEY make you life much much happier. Although you may have a good stable life without a spouse, you will get lonely.

Oh NO, you can be very happy without being attached to anyone. There are plenty of ppl that have a great life without a partner. Just take it easy and don't worry over it, when the time and place is right u will most likely meet someone, and if you don't it's ok too. Be yourself, don't try and be someone else. Be happy with yourself also.
Dude, live alone or with a partner, it's the same. You still get the bills, tax payment, mortgage, daily commutes, voting, politics, pets, loans, funerals, birth, becoming a god-parent...
The difference is that you get to share all the above if you are with a partner, and no one if you're alone.
So, it's really a matter of perspective.
You dont need a partner. Its really a personal choice, the thing is that most people rather have a partner because LOVE is such a good feeling, but others are just as happy partying or just living a calm life. Its different for everyone.

you could be happy yes....people usually marry because they found someone that they can accept for the way they are and can do likewise for them. if you have friends who are like that but not on an intimate sort of level then you can be perfectly happy. if you do things that you enjoy as often as possible then you can live a happy life. a partner in life is a person who you can share the happy moments (and the angry/sad moments =( ) with. they are also the person who can help you create more happy memories with.
so a partner in life isn't necessary you can live without one, but it sure helps to have one (btw love the name ;] )
It depends. A person who is independent and doesn't need the comfort of others can live life without a partner. However, someone who is dependent on human companionship would probably end up with a partner.
Life is however you make it. If you feel you will be miserable by yourself, then get out there and start to mingle!
