Will adding alcohol or glycerin to a body spray make it longer lasting?

  • I'm trying to turn my buttercream frosting body spray into more of a perfume. Aka....just longer lasting. How can i do this?

  • im not sure, but don't use the alcohol. body sprays generally already have alcohol in them so if you add more its just gonna make it smell bad because they already put enough in there. i do know that if you spray it on right after you put on lotion or when you just get out of the shower the scent lasts longer so you use less spray in the long run.. or if you have the matching lotion (because pretty much any body spray has a matching lotion to it) use that and then use less spray...
