hey,
I am trying to open an old word document, which was created qutie a long time ago, ive now got a new version of word and it wont let me open the file. it came up with "Word cannot import the specified format. This feature is not currently installed. Would you like to install it?" The Office Experts - Microsoft Word:: There are certain settings in Word that can cause problems or confusion. If youre familiar with previous versions of Words mail merge, you should hit http://www.theofficeexperts.com/word.htmHOME | Converting Word for DOS files ?:: A friend (who has newsgroup access problems at the moment) used MS-DOS Word 5 for many years for writing, and has since moved to Windows Word 2000. Unfortunately, http://help.lockergnome.com/office/Converting-Word-DOS-files-ftopict684375.htmlHOME |
I tried to do this, but it asked for a cd to be installed. what cd is this and is there any other way around this so i can open the file. The same error occurs with other files, but its all because they are from an older version.
cheers
Chris
