I have a Word template that has an Excel object in it, to allow users to add many rows of data (instead of using a Word table).
This is working well, but now a user wants to add so much data that the object fills a whole page. Typically, the users add 5-10 files and the object stays on one page, sometimes pushing the bottom part of the document onto a second page. This user needs to add something like 50 files to the object though. When the object is stretched to try to show all 50 items, it fills the page (in Landscape mode) and cannot show the remaining 5 or so objects. I cannot figure out how to get the object to spread across a page break.
The top of the object is at the top of the page. If I click on the middle handle at the bottom and drag down, the bottom of the object just disappears and does not show on the next page. I no longer have a bottom handle and no additional data is shown. Breaker - Unprotect multiple Word and Excel documents. Split, merge :: Breaker - Unprotect multiple Word and Excel documents. Thanks,

Yeah, I had kinda figured that, finally.
I don't have the option of moving this out of an Excel object, because I have a program that opens the Word document and reads fields from the document as well as data from the Excel object. What I had the user do, was copy the object and paste it right below itself, then modify the data in it so all the files show on the different pages.
Then I had to modify my code to read multiple Excel objects in the Word document, instead of the one.
Thanks for the reply, always glad to hear other suggestions.
An object will not break across pages in Word. Excel tend to break object across pages quite easily since the spreadsheet is really one unit.
The best way would be to Paste Special the Excel data in Word using either RTF or HTML. This will create a Word table that will closely (but not quite) resemble your Excel Spreadsheet.
