  • if I want to have xhtml compliant code and I use shortcuts and buttons such as BR and IMG, they will not close and I have to do this manually. Is there a way to alter this, without having to to use the tidyHTML format and fix?


  • If you are using an (X)HTML editor that understands different !DOCTYPEs then telling the editor which mode you wish to use should alter the tag library accordingly. For example, having an XHTML doctype would cause all tags and attributes to be lower case and empty tags like
